Detailed Authentication Process $125.00
Each item that is submitted to T.C.A.'s detailed authentication process is examined in two phases. Phase one is examined by a commercial printer for discovery of live ink, confirmation of style and time period. Phase two is examined in conjunction with two true crime memorabilia experts and a handwriting analyst for authenticity of the following.
Autograph Structure
Ink/Medium Analysis
Handwriting Analysis
Side-By-Side Comparison
Object Evaluation
Upon approval without uncertainty, T.C.A will issue a handwriting analysis report, three examples of the signature in other applications, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
The certificate will have the T.C.A gold approval seal and display a unique certification number.
The certification number will allow you to reference the T.C.A database for authenticity.
Non-Authenticated & Inconclusive Items
If an item cannot be authenticated or is found inconsistent by our experts, $100.00 of your submission fee will be returned, minus the insured return postage. A brief letter of explanation will be provided along with the item.
